Ski and Fin Set Up

Just a glimps as too what can happen when your ski is NOT set up property!
If your hitting a wall, having trouble with you skiing, or just plain frustrated, then maybe its time for a little fin adjustment.

Many skiers completely underestimate the functionality of thier ski, and blame all thier problems on themselves.  However often times, this is not the case at all!

The fluid medium our sport works in is forever changing, tempertures, viscosities, total disolved solids, and more.  To understand the effects of these variables on our ski, will only make you a better skier.  It sounds like a lot, but the reality is that it is no different then the way snow changes on a mountain.  There are icy granuals, packed powder, loose corn snow, deep powder, man-made, and many more.  All feel very different and change the way the ski reacts to its surroundings.

Fortunately for us on a slalom ski, we have the ability to tune our ski to match the characteristics of the water we are skiing on! This is NOT a difficult task and can do amazing things for your skiing!

Ever ski your best early in the spring, then slump in the middle of the summer, and then ski good again in the fall?  Well, here is your opportunity to start to learn why, and maybe next season you will remain slump free!

In my experience, a lot of issues people consistently face all root from the same issue: An improper ski set-up.   Take a look to see if theres anything here that you can relate to.  Perhaps this will be where you begin to learn a bit about another dimension of our sport.
